Lightnin is our ranch stallion. He is currently breeding mares on a limited basis. Lightnin has a super tight curly coat in the winter and sheds out to a heavy ripple with
some curls still intact in the summer. His mane and tail are thin, but that comes with
age, he will have both a mane and tail. Lightnin has quality bloodlines that include, Colonel Austin and Dry Creek Twister. These great sires are, however, far enough back in his pedigree that it allows him to breed most mares. Lightnin moves like he is on air, he just floats, and we are hoping he passes it on to his foals. Look for his first foal crop to be for sale in spring of 2002. Lightnin has the personality to take him a long way and he will be broke to ride this fall. l
